Hari Dal Makhani Masala – दाल मखनी मसाला

Recipe: Take 1 cup of black Urad dal and 1⁄4 cup of Rajma in a large bowl, add enough water and soak atleast for 8 hours. Rinse the dal in running water, transfer into a cooker and add 3 cups of water. Also add some salt to taste and pressure cook on medium flame till the dal is cooked completely. In a large pan take a table spoon full of ghee and add bay leaf, fry till the spice become aromatic, now add finely chopped onions and saute till they turm golden brown then add ginger garlic paste and stir again till the raw aroma of ginger garlic goes away. Now add Now add chopped Tomatoes and cook till they turn soft, add ‘Hari’ Turmeric Powder, ‘Hari’ Coriander Powder, ‘Hari’ Chilli Powder, ‘Hari’ Dal Makhani Powder and salt to taste. Cook the Masala for a minute. Onec the masala start releasing oil from it, and cooked dal give a good stir. Add 1 cup of water or as required and boil for 15 minutes. To get creamy texture, add 2 table spoon full of fresh cream.Top up with fresh Coriander Leaves and serve hot.
