Hari Sambhar Masala – सांभर मसाला

Recipe: Take 100g of Toor/Arhar Dal in cooker with water take 2-3 whisties until dal becomes soft. Take one more whistie with pumpkin, Brinjal, Drumstick, Onion etc. Now add tamarind extract ‘Hari’ Sambhar Masala and let it boil for 5 minutes. Now in a pan add some oil/ghee and let it warm, add Mustard Seeds, Red Chilli (dried), Curry leaves and pinch of Asafoetida to make tadka. Add the mixture of dal and veggies in it and serve hot with Idli, Dosa, Rice etc.
